Most Expensive City in the world - Luanda, Angola

Yes! This caption must have got every one thinking, an African country, the most expensive city? What about New York? Not to worry, New York is not even at the 1st ten positions. Wow!

According to the Worldwide Cost of Living Survey 2011 conducted by Mercer, Luanda, Angola has been ranked as the most expensive city with Tokyo (Japan), N'Djamena (Chad), Mosco (Russia) and Geneva (Switzerland) taking 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions respectively. More details can be found here.
