Death on my birthday - Spartacus!

As no one neither chooses a day to be born nor to die, screen sensational Andy Whitfield popularly known for his lead role in the adventure series Spartacus finally lost his battle with Lymphoma (blood cancer). An 18 month struggle.

Born in 1972 in Wales and studying Engineering from the University of Sheffield as well as attending a TV and film school, he therefore ventured into acting with Spartacus (2010) making waves for him and kept him on a pedestal of his glory.

One landmark event is that he died on my birthday, September 11, 2011, meaning his name has been added among deaths for this day. One lesson learned is that though living for just a short while (according to the thoughts of us men), 39 years, he made an indelible mark, created a name for himself and caused so much pain to many that loved his role while at the same time living them satisfied for his spectacular passion-filled roles. Yes, he was one of the actors that glued me to the TV series Spartacus. Definitely, any other actor that is to replace his role in the TV series has got much work to do. Satisfying the eye and mind vision of all movie lovers.

Leaving behind his wife and 2 kids, he left more in the hearts of world viewers who he graced with his actions on screen. His life was our entertainment. Let us live to make a mark for ourselves.
