Be-U-tiful
I live in the beautiful city (minus the unpredictable weather though) of Portharcourt, so recently I got together with some friends and we hit the town, as part of our Saturday ritual. At this great store, I came across a book with the title “be-U-tiful” and we all thought it was super cool and uber-inspiring. I eventually didn’t buy the book though (I know, my bad) because I had to make a choice between the book and a beautiful brown gladiator sandals, (need I say more?)

Soldiers deployed to Borno State to combat Boko Haram
Yes! You just read the headline. Men of the Nigerian army have been deployed to Borno State to tighten up security. Borno is the epicenter of the Islamic radical group Boko Haram. There have been several attacks and threats bu this radical group. This is really terrorism insurgence into Nigeria and seriously diverting the attention of government from its developmental duties… SO HELP US GOD!

Life & Choices.
It really gets to that point in life where we are torn between what to choose. Which way to go. Who to trust and how to go about all our activities. From general observation I've really noticed that this point of realization actually manifests in most youths towards graduation from the university and few years afterwards.
The big question that pops through minds of such persons are which way is the right way? In as much as we all must have thought of all the goodies and reminisce on events that are yet to occur; paint perfect lives and families for ourselves we all still plunge to this point of INDECISIVE INDECISION (just my words).
Yes I've been there, rather I am there. Hmmm... better still at the point of leaving there. Well this indecision still looms in me. Same as in my dear readers. Yes we all know we are loaded with so much attributes and skills with which we are destined to shine our lights to the world. But why the confusion? The great thinkers always say "the choices we make today detect our tomorrow." Are these choices easily reached?
In as much as we try to believe in our abilities and remain positive in life why does this issue keep bugging our lives. I might conclude that I need professional or true and real advice in this area of decision making and which way to go. Success or Failure!

Accidents again! 4 NYSC die.
Tragedy struck yesterday when two different accidents occurred claiming about 28 persons including the drivers and 4 NYSC members returning from the end of their service year. One in Enugu a collision between a Peace Mass Transit bus and an ENTRACO registered bus; the other in Ibadan as a bus fell off a bridge.

Kidnapped Corpers(NYSC) Rescued
Thank God! The 5 corp members (4 females and 1 male) that were kidnapped in Portharcourt sometime last week (about 12 days ago) have been finally rescued. The info reaching Neduzi Blogs was rescued if government pay ransom we know not that. By the way government is not meant to negotiate with kidnappers and terrorists. My thoughts though.
Na wa oooo! These people did not do their Pass Out Ceremony ooo!

Rains in Lagos turn streets and houses to flowing oceans
A flooded bank in VI area of Lagos following today's rains
It is no longer news the way the city of Lagos gets all flooded when it rains. You'll think the Atlantic Ocean has overflown its banks. No wonder some residents in some areas were told to seek alternative accommodation from now till January 2012. More pictures when you continue.

Memoir - The life of a young man
Today was one of those days that will make you wonder, ask questions, re-evaluate your plans and hopes made some years back.
Little wonder did I know that aside my plans to work late through the night and make it to the office at about 7am today that the rains had its different schedule. Loud thunder storms and heavy showers vibrated the roofs, shook the windows and force me out of bed at about 5am as against 5:15am that was the wake up time.

Hero of Modern Day (Customer Service) Banking Falls.
"...Oh death where thou art sting?"
This question will not seize to be on our lips. One of the founding fathers of modern day customer service driven bank falls to the cold hands of death yesterday aged 57. He is Mr. Tayo Aderinokun, MD/CEO of Guaranty Trust Bank. Though a short life here on earth but an INDELIBLE LANDMARK he left in his departure. A brief profile of him as you continue.

Employers and "Years of Experience"
Sometimes I still wonder about that issue of job vacancy adverts where employers will demand at least 2 years work experience. Abeg, abeg abeg; where will a fresh graduate you refuse to employ gather the experience needed to work na? Just my thought though. I need inputs and your views on this.
LMFAO! Cheoreography or Churcheography?
All in the name of praise and worship. What is wrong with this brother in the music lord.
